CoD WAW Beta Thread

I got one from the COD:WaW website today (And I got one from game on friday but it didn't work)
Played on it earlier and............
it's..........ok. The main problem is it feels a lot more dated than CoD 4, despite WaW having more features, it lacks the polish of CoD 4, and just generally feels like CoD 3.
Pro's:
- Bigger maps (I think)
- More weapons
- Stopping power isn't as necessary as it was on CoD 4
- Bouncy Betty's are hilarious.
- Character animations seem to be slightly improved
- Limbs fly!!!

Con's:
- Feels older than CoD 4
- Campers seem to be everywhere
- Bolt action weapons are not powerful enough
- I'm not as good at it as I am at CoD4!

I'm currently torn over whether or not to cancel my pre-order

The playable maps seem to lack the variation of strategical points like in CoD4, that and sprint seems to last for about half an hour.

Should also add it feels a bit sluggish and slow paced (But I still like it)

Ok, I take back what I said about this game not being too bad, after playing on the Beta a couple more time I now find it absolutely pathetic compared to COD 4 and have now canceled my pre-order.

I did not think the beta was that bad, true, it's no CoD4 but it was still enjoyable. I think I'll pick it up next year for the SP as L4D will be taking up most of my MP time I think

I didnt enjoy the WaW beta and enjoying the COD4 gameplay atm so cant see myself getting it, which is a shame cos i really liked COD2 and a decent WW2 shooter would have been great.

the tanks should have been a nice addition, but all they seemed to have done is when one team starts to gain an advantage it quickly becomes a walkover as they get control of all of them

If your team works together you can easily destroy a tank before it gets any kills.... some servers have the tanks turned off anyway

and yeah.. about the working together... hmm that basically starts and ends with "if you see a red blip near one of your guys leg it over there"

If youre as l33t as me you can get a satchel charge underneath the tank and its a one shot kill
