When I had that, on PS one the FF 7 + 8 were on? FF8 was loads better.

There, the master of the universe has judged and spoken. Rhionna, I think her name was? Loads better than the other one on FF7, Ariel was it? I can bearly remember

i kind of agree with you but don't

for me 8 was awesome graphically and very cinematic, 7 was more indepth and storyline was good.

8 took me 40-50 hours to do everything get every GF etc, 7 took me 100 hours easily to do the lot but i never beat the ultimate wepaon in the sand cant remember its name but it stuck two tenticles in the ground behind you.

Rinoa I'm not worring about the other - a short tubby midgget with large stonner eyes.

    Re: 360 RPG's

Well, bought Fable 2. Oh dear. It looks very old. The graphics are nothing great. Not compared to GTA. I cannot seem to get into it. I went to the first cave. Now I'm at the first big city where this gypsy woman says she will meet me. At this point, as I wait for her It tells me I can get a job.

I'm really disappointed. With your dog it seems you cannot condition him to be a vicious git.

Am I passing judgment too early on this? I think I may just trade this game in for some movies in Game.

Really, I thought GTA wasn't quite as good, but personal opinion

You need to play it more, or you aren't playing it properly (the more evil you are, the more evil your dog is, and then gets red eyes!! Or be good and he goes golden (and you get a halo))

Yes you are, you need to play at least 6-8 hours (tbh you can finish it once in another 6-8 if you dont do a lot of side missions)

Well, you might be passing judgement too early on it, but lets get one thing correct - GTA4 this isn't.

It's not in the same league as GTA.

I only compare the two in terms of graphics and how they look on my monitor.

    Ah.

GTA4 blows Fable 2 away in that area.

And pretty much every other area as well.

I presume you mean as characters

As both are made in Britain, GTA in Edinburgh and Fable 2 by Lionhead who are English

    Re: 360 RPG's

So after absolutely loving Fallout3 I decided to go back and give Oblivion another try, had previously gave up before getting out of the sewer. Well, I'm afraid this one just isn't for me, I'm not a fan of all that boringTolkeinite fantasy crap in the first place but mixed with a clunky mellee based combat system in first person and I'm afraid it's just awful, especially as I don't care for casting spells and the like.

Fallout 3 was just soo much better, from the setting, the characters, and the polish of the back story and character creation.

Anyone want to buy a copy of Oblivion (xbox360) for a tenner plus postage?

    Re: 360 RPG's

The blatant fantasy aspect of RPGs is usually a Japanese thing - take the Final Fantasies, for example. Obviously there are a couple of exceptions (Fable 2).

If you don't like magic in games you'll be wanting to steer of all of those sorts of games - did you read any reviews about what the game actually had in it?

    Re: 360 RPG's

Well, Fable 2 has me lost. Okay, it can look pretty. And despite all resoning with myslef I became master Blaclsmith and wood chopper. Loads of money to spare I am buying property outright and bleeding everyone for every penny.

And then i'm stuck. I think I'm married/engaged to Maggie The Whore from the market area. I took her back to the gypsy camp, bought every single home there. I got the option to molest her once but I accidentally skipped through it. Problem is I cannot get the option to shag her so I can have children. I'm going to have many wives but I really want to get Maggie The Whore knocked up first. Also, a symbol on our relationship shows a wedding ring with an red cross through it. It does not show what that means in the manual.

It's kind of put a downer on things. All the annoying somerst accents means I do not care less about the quests. It's seems to be more about bettering myself.
