It's after a session of Infamous I noticed it. I just thought "N0000000." It was like a 360 in terms of heat.

Also, I noticed an option. PS scaling and some option under it saying smoothing. Is this to do with PS2 games? I thought the PS3 had that ability snuffed out.

Maybe I could get some old Final Fantasy on the go.

The scaling is for PS1 games, and PS2 if you have an original 60gb.

I suppose Slim users will still see these options (although not be able to action them as such) as its the same firmware as used for our old release fatty PS3's.

Yeah PS1 games can be played by software emulation on all models apparently, not tried any PS1 games though personally, but Wiki says...

Download the demo and see if you like, and seen as your a pc gamer/ user the graphics wont be that great either, sad seen as it was its selling point.

Killzone 2 is IMO a fantastic game. It is all about opinions though. It looks and plays great both campaign and MP.

In gameplay terms its a bland, generic and unbalanced shooter. It does look beautiful though- a real system showcase title.

I am playing Infamous right now. I am on the first city Island. On the map there are a few more Islands greyed out. But if you can unlock this later in the game then this is a big game.

But I guess KillZone 2 will have to wait anyway. I want to to pick up a copy of Uncharted on the Platnum range as I want to play through that ready for Uncharted 2. As the Uncharted videos I watched was the final push into me buying the PS3.

Then There is Borderlands. I think I'll buy the PS3 version over the PC version.

killzone 2 and other first person shooters are actually getting quite boring IMO, i mean now adays all video game companies do is create first person shooter games but some people like me don't like to play these games but like 3rd person games such as the metal gear series and the splinter cell series which are both brilliant and better games then killzone 2, as it allows you to see the character which i like to see
