Cheers, may soon be able to move my old xbox with xmbc out, and just fully replace with 360 as extender.

Nice, now if only it worked on Vista MCE
I tried one called TunerFree MCE a while back which also had ITV and 4OD, but it was pretty buggy

Re: Iplayer on 360 using win media center

I really wish they would just intergrate this properly into the Live experience, like they have with SkyTV etc.

But then MS don't want to licence flash for their systems, as they compete with Adobe with sIlverlight, and iPlayer, 4OD, etc all use flash on the web. Allthough I believe there is ways to get it without flash (ie how iPlayer works on xbmc)

    Server MSI Z170A Gaming M7, Intel i7-6700K, 16Gb DDR 2400, 120Gb SATA SSD, 1Tb WD Black HDD, 4x 4Tb HDD in RAID5

Re: Iplayer on 360 using win media center

why MS couldn't just use flash like everyone else is beyond me, and if they hadn't been such money grabbing pricks they could have had iPlayer on the 360 but alas they thought they could use it as a means to get people to shell out for Gold subscriptions.

Re: Iplayer on 360 using win media center

The iplayer not being available is due to BBC not being allowed to charge for content but m$ only wanting it to be available to gold subscribers, nothing to do with flash

Re: Iplayer on 360 using win media center

Very strange decision for MS, I know they want people to have gold, but it would be such a nice selling point. I use it as an extender attached to my living room TV for downloaded vids, so adding iPlayer streaming functionality would be awesome. I would love the Blu-Ray and iPlayer of PS3 with the Windows Integration and MCE functions of XBOX!

So this addon uses the kind of "Live Streaming" extender functionality from the PC? Im confused.
