Really? :O I thought it was one of the best games I've played in a while!
I wouldn't rule it out as a "shooter" though, it'd be terrible to play with a mouse.. has a cover system kinda like that of Gears of War.

For me Uncharted is one of the best series of games on the PS3. A demo doesn't really do it justice IMO. The story is immersive and that's the part which gets you. The second one is more refined and I remember enjoying both when they came out.

Another vote for the Rachet series but the OP said he didn't want shooters. Heavy Rain?

Yeah but its a shooting game and i am a PC lover and cant be bothered with using an anologue stick to shoot things when i have a mouse on my pc.

Then your a fool to think it's just a shooting game and your too 1337 to use analogue sticks. If your that much a PC lover then why by a console? sooner or later your have to learn to shoot with the sticks and tbh if my 7 year old son can do it fine then i'm sure you can... Missing out on one of the best games on PS3 over a mouse n keyboard is dumb....

no its not as with a few other people i watched my mate playing it and it didn't seem that brilliant. But thats not the reason i wont try it, My reason is simple i had a 360 i did gears of war 1 and 2 and halo 3 and dark sector and played cod Mw all on the xbox and none of the shooters i have played on a console have ever been as good as a shooter on the pc for me.

Using a keyboard and mouse over a analogue stick isn't dumb. why turn up to a sword fight with a spoon if you have a 20ft broadsword in the cupboard.As long as i have a pefectly good pc i will never enjoy a shooter on a console.

And i bought my console to play games on it that i cant get on my pc like motorstorm Gt5 and final fantasy 13 and to watch some Blu-rays

Thats a good deal you got. I've heard killzone 2 and uncharted 2 are the best games on the ps3.

I too recently got a PS3 (for God of War 3). Currently blazing my way through God of War: Collection.

I have heard the Uncharted series is a must have, so that will be ordered soon.

Hearing good stuff about Bayonetta and Dante's Inferno (even if they are clones of Devil May Cry and God of War).

Heavenly Sword looked good, but the reviews aren't brilliant.

I've got Heavy Rain, but I am too busy with God of War at the moment.

Any more ideas guys?

If you like action adventures you cant go wrong with Darksiders, was about halfway through it before my PS3 died. Need to start it again but really enjoying it. Another one I'm going to throw into the mix is The Saboteur, shame Pandemic got shut down. Must admit REALLY like the game even though it only got average reviews.

Already completed The Saboteur on the PC. My general rule is, if it is available for the PC, then I will get it for that.

my mate timmo has sabotuer on ps3 i'll nab it off him before he goes down to trade it in and give it a go.

Got it today cant see myself playing anything other than final fantasy for the near future it looks absolutely amazing.
