So i Just bought a PS3!!!!!!!!!!

title says it all really just ordered an 80gb model for £199 from sainsburys with little big planet,

am thinking about buying motorstorm heavanly sword and gt5 prologue for £19 on playtrade any reasons why i shouldn't buy any of these.

Gotta wait til end of april before i can get final fantasy 13 the missus is gonna buy it for my birthday.

Nope none at all, they are 3 solid titles. Heavenly Sword was along with Resistance Fall of Man the games I got with my first PS3 60GB.

The guy who done the voice and motion capture work for Gollum in the Lord of the Rings trilogy Andy Serkis, also does it for the main bad guy in Heavenly Sword and he done a wonderful job too.

You can't really go wrong at that price for 3 good games.

You could always download the demo's of Motorstorm 1&2 and see what you think. TBH I think Pure is better game in that category.

No shooting games on theps3 for me been there done that on the xbox360 prefer the pc for them

i had pure on the 360 was awesome went for pacific rift in the end for the motorbikes.

They are 3rd person type shooters in the vein of Indiana Jones! You can get the first one for less than a tenner now pre owned.

Brutal Legend is also a decent action adventure game

Edit : Just went to turn mine on this morning (250Gb Slim) and the console is completely dead. Game will exchange it for me, however the problem is that is has FFXIII is in it which was purchased at ASDA. Not forgetting the 14 hours I have put into the game so far aaaaarrrrggghhhh!

Ratchet and clank games are good if you like that sort of thing.

+1 for uncharted 1 & 2, both great games.

GT5 prologue is much better with a wheel.

If you havent played Uncharted2 then you havent been there, done that !! That is a one off game and the best of it's type.

Game are going to replace it and there is a £35 gift card in the safe so i can replace my FF game. Pretty good service really, I also get to keep the 2 games that i got in my bundle which are NFS Shift and Uncharted 2

It wasnt a YLOD, its just completely dead, tried a different power lead and all the usual but no luck. Thing that is bugging me is losing all my savegames

If you havent played Uncharted2 then you havent been there, done that !! That is a one off game and the best of it's type.

Yeah but its a shooting game and i am a PC lover and cant be bothered with using an anologue stick to shoot things when i have a mouse on my pc.

Ugh, I personally thought it was one of the mosy over hyped, poor fighting games to be released recently - this is comapred to DOA4 thoguh which is superb IMO.

Uncharted demo was really uninspiring as far as I was concerned, but I'm going to give it another try given all the good press it seems to have had.
