Gone for number 5, looks like whoever was driving turned their lights off for a second in the pic, looks good but its a tad dangerous!

5 is a fantastic photo, and I'd love it as a high res wall paper for my desktop. But the theme of "the street" has to be number 4.

3 is also an excellent picture, but not "the street"

i went for number 3 again, an excellent picture

was a tough choice though, 5 is also a great picture, neither of them really in-keeping with the theme though

I'm loving 5, but i think 4 is more appropriate for the challenge topic.

Five is very cool. I am guessing it took quite a few tries to get it right. From the photo I think it was about a 30 second exposure.

I don't know what the photographer did, but I don't think it was necessary to risk getting a good camera run over. An alternative would be to use a film camera, Either an old cheap SLR from eBay, or for even less a pinhole camera home made from cardboard for about 50p. With 30 seconds to play with, there would be plenty of time to put the camera out, open the shutter, signal to your mate to drive past, then close the shutter and retrieve the camera.

TBH i like 3 and 5 from a creative aspect, but 1 captures the topic the best, 5 is more like 'the road' IMO.

5 for me. I've tried to do something like that in the middle of Tower Bridge and not (yet) managed it.

4 is also good, but I don't like the light streaks finishing in the middle of the shot. Is that a starlight filter?

3 and 1 - nah. I thought 3 was trying to be a different take on a street, namely like grass or a river can be "streets" to other animals... but not composed like that...
