    No offence, hitman67, but are you saying you've gone and photographed anything and everything? If so then that's kind of proved my point, this seems too broad.

    How are we going to choose from amongst the images? They could cover such a wide range of subjects that individual personal prefence to subject matter could have more of an affect of voting than usual, since the images may not be very comparable.

    Then again, maybe the reason I never get around to entering is because I'm always looking for (or trying to think of) where to take the perfect shot...

    I don;t see how "B&W" would be any more (or indeed less) broad than Macro? Macro photos could have been of anything, and would prove difficult to pick which to enter. Plus, i have to disagree with you about B&W not requiring any skill. Some subjects suit B&W better than others, it's up to the photographer to find something that works, and that's interesting. that's the point of the competitions. Something that's a bit different.
