Slow Elements............

Just a quickie - i'm starting to play with elements (dl'd the 1 month trial and now just bought an oem)
it is painfully slow to change the orientation, and I mean it takes maybe 10-15 seconds.
Would it be anything to do with the fac I am running 1920x1200 with a 4600ti128 ? (and 2gb ddr/4600X2)

by orientation i'm guessing your rotating by 90 degrees?

resolution of your screen has nothing to do with the speed that Elements would rotate the image..

how big is your elements file?

also goto Edit>Preferences>General
turn your history to 10

then in Memory and Cache, set your RAM usage to 85% and Cache to 8

then restart the app

Ended up going for a rather long walk and lunch near Bodium, east sussex yesterday on a day off - although it did give me chance to play with my new camera

Back to work today (it's a hard life)
