    Unhappy New Pink Panther Movie

Steve Martin is starring in a new version of The Pink Panther as the bumbling Inspector Clouseau investigating the disappearance of the titular pink diamond. He has also been polishing the script, originally by Len Blum who also wrote, er, Beethoven’s 2nd.
I'm sorry, but I dont see how you can have a Pink Panther movie without Sellers? I mean to say, he WAS the movie. It's just wrong imo.

There was another one of the Pink Panthers movies that he was not in as well. I don't mean the 4th one, can't remember what it's called now though.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

Can't say I've seen that one, so I cant comment. But I suppose there must be a generation of people who aren't familiar with Sellers.

Bound to be pants deluxe tho innit. Cant see anyone else pulling off a convincing Clouseau.

I think I agree with you guys.

    Sellars WAS Clouseau.

Saying that isn't time Steve Martin did something decent, he usually does every half a dozen movies or so...............

The other film had Alan Arkin in it and was called Inspector Clouseau. Alan Arkins been in some decent stuff but he was absolutely crap as clouseau. Not sure I've liked much of Steve Martin since about 1989. Man with Two Brains, Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid and that sort of stuff was quite good.

Sellers makes the Pink Panther, I find this disrespectful in a manner, it's a shame they always deface classic films
