Thanks Bob... I'm not much of a plane geek but I do like shots of the Vulcan.

#26 what's happening here? sound barrier?

Lots of tightly framed shots there, did you have to crop?
I can also see the noise where you pulled up the underexposed parts

I like #9, not so much the building though.

lol no. Just condensation forming in the low pressure vortex created by the high angle of attack.

    Some really nice shots here.

I dunno if you're going to like this suggestion or not - but time to ditch the 20Ds? I've held my tongue, but I'm noticing a lot of noise in your shots - especially where it looks like you've pushed the shadows. #1 in the helicopter cockpit, #2 in the hull of both boats, #5 all over the parachutist, #6 in the tyres etc etc. Maybe 1 40D and keep the other as backup? 1x 40D and 1x50D seems to be a great combo to me - it's like having a 1Ds and a 1D in APS-C.

Nice pics there Bob! I remember seeing the Vulcan at Farnborough 2008 and it was a lovely sight to behold. Such a graceful aircraft. I would post some pictures but I was still using a film camera at the time!!

The best display I have seen was the Mig29 OVT at Farnborough 2006 though with its 3D thrust vectoring:

    3, 5, 9, 12, 21 are my favs

I wouldn't be surprised that no 9 wouldn't sell to that hotel, a great advert for the hotel

And PLEASE leave the exif in there, as an inexperienced photographer I find it a great help to see people's settings!

40Ds 550GPB now, what's one of your 20Ds worth, 200? We all know it's the tog not the gear etc, but I'd say your 20Ds are holding you back a little. You take some very nice shots, but occasionally I can see where you've tweaked the shadows and go 'ugh!' Will it make any difference to your keepers rather than the shots you stick on Hexus? You're in a better position to answer that than me, and I don't know the economics of your business, but it's something I've noticed.
