For that price I'd rather spend a couple of quid more and get a nice case, disc, insert, etc :/

There's a limited number of burns to CD (7) and shares to other PCs (5)
Give it a little while and no doubt the hymn project will be updated to fix that issue

www.allofmp3.com for me though they're a bit limited in their selection i find, but price, quality and speed wise, they rock!
I'll admit that I'm tempted by allofmp3.com but I wouldn't feel right using it - knowing that it's deffo illegal over here (though I have used Hymn on the few tracks I've downloaded from iTunes so I guess I'm being a hypocrite). TBH I'd sooner have the CD where I know it's a good album BUT even though I don't normally buy singles that's where I see my iTunes store use - for example yesterday I downloaded Beastie Boys - Check it out (reckon half of the album could grow on me but the other half I wasn't impressed by - MIGHT pick it up cheap in the sales one day), The Cure - Lullaby (pretty much the ONLY cure song I like) and Jet - Are you gonna be my girl - as even though the album may be questionable that's a bloody good pop rock tune IMO... Yet I've never ever bought a CD single in my life and probably never will (not worth the money or effort IMO - so for single tracks iTunes is great - low price / track, already encoded and slots nicely into your existing library)Originally Posted by fondie
I'd much rather buy the real thing tbh, even if i've already downloaded an album if I like it i'll go out and buy it, its just far nicer to have the music in physical form that you can keep forever than on a hdd imo
Definately would pay a couple of quid extra for the actual cd but im intrested in some singles for 80p actually.
I think I go with the masses here... While I much prefer the physical disk for albums, I can see me using iTunes for all those single tracks I want without wanting to buy the album for one track. (I think that makes sense!?)
everyone i work with uses allofmp3 so they'll have to cart us all away together, its quick and cheap, sure beats 99p a track.Originally Posted by directhex
