The official site said only people with the special DVD whatsits got the trailer, so I went hunting on torrent sites last night... got hold of it, a tad dissapointing but otherwise I'm looking forward to this nearly as much as the Red Dwarf movie (but not quite ).
We cannot choose what we are.. but what are we but the sum of our choices?

I'm not looking forward to it

Absolutely Loved the books, and there's the problem. I've got the characters in my head - What they look like, sound like etc. And sooooooooooo much of the book isn't actually spoken - Adams descriptions of stuff are utterly priceless! What they going to do? Have a narrator?

I'm the same with the discworld stuff - love the books, refuse to watch the DVD's, it'll only ruin it for me.

I got lucky...the TV series and the books were the same time for me...I literally watched and read week by week...Zaphod and Ford are gonna be impossible to replace

The books are cool & froody. The radio series is good. The TV series was a bit dull, but I guess if you watched them when they were first on TV they were a bit 'zany'.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

that teaser didn't really work for me. is it supposed to just be a screen shot with the standard copyright crud and a bit of sound for a min ? Me thinks not

but i got all weepy with the sound of its a wonderful world. this is the ONE thing in the world guaranteed to make me cry like a little girly girl
