    Tsunami Relief Cardiff...

    Did anyone else go?

What a fantastic day! The atmosphere was just awesome, loads of good bands (and randomly Liberty X miming as well!) Feeder, Kelly Jones, the Manics, Embrace, and especially Eric Clapton and Jools holland were all on top form. And they managed to raise about £1.25m for the tsunami appeal too. Which is all gravy.

yeah, i managed to get my arse in gear and go too, was amazing!! goldie lookin chain made me laugh, music might be somewhat 'alternative' but they are nothing if not amusing feeder seemed to get everyone going nicely and yeah clapton and jools were unreal! did anyone else think the first some they played was layla? only reason i say it is that the piano solo jools played sounded like one of the guitar solos on the acoustic version? am i going mad?

I went.. Was the best concert I've been to in years.

I'm not sure if liberty x were miming though... I thought so at the time but on watching it back on the bbc website. On at least one or 2 of the songs they were not.
