    Rock, definately!
(with a space for some classical and easier listening stuff too)

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

Err... why have you put Jazz and Blues in the same category (as well as Classical/Easy Listening/Country etc also in the same category), yet you haven't put Rap and Hip-Hop in the same category. Looks to me like the basslines are killing your braincells a bit, chap.

Jazz to be honest, closely followed by hardcore

Howard this is the reason you stay blocked on my msn, i'm sorry but just because you don't do it doesn't make it wrong or stupid.

yes its dangerous and no i've not tried ecstacy myself BUT i don't judge others for it because i havn't/choose not too.

Some dance (before the euro trance kerri lorena crap wave thats hit us recently!) still appears in my playlist next to slayer, afi, mettalica and system of a down.

does this make me an ecstacy popping idiot.....no, it makes me someone who doesn't have the exact same opinions and views as everyone else and a closed mind to other kinds of music.

if anyone thinks this a random flame then fair enough, i'm sorry i have to say it here but i think your opinions on drink, drugs, smoking, and the people around you need to mature beyond what they are now.

I don't see how my opinions on drugs and smoking are "immature", how is saying they're not a good idea, immature? And what do you mean by "the people around you"?
From personal experience 95% of people I've seen smoking/doing drugs are fairly unpleasant people who I and many other people don't like to associate with. And that's where my opinion comes from.

I apologise for the dance bit however, maybe that was a bit silly :|

You don't say they're not a good idea, If you said "drinking is a bad idea" i'd have no problems. Its phrases like "don't go out and get drunk thats what the cretins do" that annoy me.

You obviously have bad associations with alchohol and drugs being used by idiots, this is not always the case. The reasopn i said your immature is that you have a very closed mind to all of it.

the words - "don't knock it until you've tried it" come to mind
