as a purely personal rule i never upload full size images...why? I'm aware of people having images 'acquired' and used for other's gain, claimed to belong to someone else not to be the author... in fact I'm still owed money for a picture of mine that was used as the front cover of a magazine, its use was authorised...but i'm still waiting for the cheque. Thats why I never upload a full res. of my pictures... you are welcome to a full version if you PM me your email - it'll be one nice big email though!

    that suffers nothing.

that is just IT! Quite breath taking, AND it feels like a lifetimes dream in a photo.

    Top top class!

great picture mate. really good composition and expoure, i like the fact that there is detail on the rocks and that the snow isnt blown out. spot on.

that rope does detract a little for me though, have you thought of cloning it out? only a suggestion as i know some people dont like doing that much editing.

were you up there climbing with him or is it from some kind of vantage point?

shiato storm, really artistic and a good image.

what do you define as "processing" touch ups, glare removal that sort of thing ?

How serious are you about your hobby of photography, or is it more than a hobby. Its a really nice shot.
    It is Inevitable.....

Thats pretty sweet Shiato Storm .

Was it mainly levels you changed in your "smidge" of processing?

processing = a teeny bit of sharpening but not much as the raw images are pretty darned near good enough, I just added a mild grey overlayer to bring up the clouds/shadows.

as far as hobby etc goes...well, I guess you can see I take it quite seriously, and for that I'd like to make it a bit more than a hobby... but I'm not sure I'm there yet!
