    love the shots!

have you got a site set up for your talent? Class stuff.

Just got a Ricoh R2 5.0 Mp jobby and I'm hoping to get more into digi photography myself - the R2 is so my Gfriend/Partner can take it shopping with her ??? I wanted to trade my 35 SLR for something beeefy, the R2 aint bad, but its not a D70.

I'll throw some pics up here when I get a chance.

Do you mind if I nick your new-york-esque photo, heading there in a week and that would look class on my *cough* Diary...

    forgot cute kids too

Very impressive photos. Do you have to work on them alot with something like PSP, or do you not need to do much work on them once they're taken?

The bike shot does nothing for me personally, but all the others are excellent! That butterfly is amazing, with the light coming through the wings, and almost looks like it's posing for you, lol.

Some of those were taken on a Sony DSC 717, while the rest were on a Canon EOS10D.

I think the wood & water shot, and the storm through glass shot are the only two that I DIDN'T edit from the scenic pics, and the second and third of my son. The rest I play around with on Photoshop until they have no choice but to roll over and submit to my will....there's a good photo in everything you take if you cheat enough

They are pretty cute, I can't deny it I hate to break it to you on the talent front, but these are a few pics from my favourite lists which numbers less than 200 from 25000 photos....I just love digital camera's...

Think so? Never really thought about it....too busy starting a company...maybe in a couple of months when I've got some time on my hands....Trouble is you take a look at some of the stuff people have done and go sob quietly in a corner for a while....

I've got to say that the bike shot is one of my favourites, but perhaps because it captures the moment so well for me. I found that the angle was a pretty unusual one, but pulled several things into the shot that draws your eye around the picture in the right way (the curved line in the bottom left leads you eye down the road, interrupted by the bike, leading to impressions of travelling in such a lush environment....god, that sounds like some of the bollox I used to write for university assignments...)

Slab ... That silhouette shot is great....I always get the exposure wrong on those things, and that one is just spot on. The light in your first shot is just perfect...nice car

heh. cheers. that picture actually got darkened a *tad* (less than 10%), but otherwise its just right. believe it or not, its actually from a cam with no manual exposure/focus/anything settings.. pot luck i guess

    the car's naff

what do you actually do to your shots on photoshop? i've got it, but never tried doing anything.. i'm not really aware as to waht you would do, although in my minds eye it looks like you might have altered the colours a bit in your shots?

Traditionally I just play around with curves CTRL+M to get the contrast and brightness to the levels I like....but my wife's a demon when it comes to overlays and such....she can do wonders with the kids portraits....
