i was just wondering, if they call it the War and Peace show - where's the Peace? was there some Hare Krishna's around the back somewhere?
Wellll the beer tent is a good place to discuss peace.
And the tanks aren't shooting people either
Name them
Chieftain, 2x M60's and a Churchill crocodile. Think the Churchill is the last one that runs.
Aircraft pic taken at Duxford, one of the greatest aircraft that nearly entered service, instead we got he F111 (that fell out the sky a lot). Any gueses what she is, apart from dam sexy??

a plane... but i did guess it was duxford so half a point to me.
yes I know the plane...its a TSR-2 one of two built in answer to the US's F-111. its fixed wing long range recon/bomber. and i believe it was faster than the f-111 - but its bigger and heavier so may not be!
edit: have a look here linkamundo
you can see a fuselage similar in shape to that of many modern fighters, tornado in particular i think anyway, cause I recognise the underbelly from other craft.
it seemed some technology was used for creating the concord thanks to this bird

Give that man a bananna.
Thers a really good video about it, if you see a copy give it a whirl. Part of the film shows a test flight, when they opened up one of the two afterburners the chase fighters couldnt keep up. Very very advanced radar and weapons systems.
i'm into aircraft - my great uncle was chief designer (one of 3) for de Havilland and designed, along with many other craft, the mosquito (kicks arse), comet (noisey but the first passanger jet), infact lots of things from during the war right through to 70's...take your pick!
also my cousin test piloted concord so you could say its somewhere floating around in my blood. shame i'm cr*p at maths otherwise i could have followed them into aeronautical engineering, and i'm doing physiology instead never mind eh...may apply for a piloting lessons to see what its all about
