The new Humax box does apparently have twin tuners. This thread seems well informed. I went from a BT/Netgem box to a Humax PRV-8000T. I don't use the Netgem box at all now (never used the internet access anyway). If I were looking to buying one now, I'd hang on 'til the new Humax is available. In reality it's not often that I want to record two things at the same time BUT my girlfriend finds it really annoying when something I've scheduled for recording stops her watching whatever else is on. Twin tuners are definitely a good move. If you're not after a PVR, then the Sony Freeview box is very well regarded. My folks love theirs.
