i've been looking for a cheap n cheerful tripod today for my shot, saw a couple on ebay but worried it wouldnt arrive in time :/.
The city council have ruined my plans for what i wanted to do for mine, so i'll have to think of something else *sigh*
if you only need lightweight support jessops do some reasonable looking sort of things or get one of those mini tripods...I've got one of those slinky type ones (and a big one for the other camera)

I picked up a decent lightweight Velbon for about £20 recently which is excellent for what I needed (a very cheap lightweight tripod). Normally I wouldn't recomend the brand, 'cause they're really cheap and plastic and break pretty easily if you're not careful, but they do the job as long as you know what you're getting....Originally Posted by Elmo

I'm looking forward to seeing the results to vote on. The last one was very hard to choose between the photos, hope this one is too

lol, my camera doesnt cope too well in rain/dullness
Does it have to be a photo taken for the challenge or will one from my archived be acceptable?
Still not hope so might not have time to take any new ones before sunday.
you need to take the photo in the week of the challenge, thems be the rules.
I'm hoping to get one or 2 taken today as, so far, it's a nice day so hopefully the rain will hold off till I can get it done!
Heh, I just got my Nokia N90, and yea my EOS20D is at home in Colombo (*sniff sniff*)...Still this baby takes some pretty sweet 2MP shots, and I happen to be in my dept. and there are plenty of 'Industrial' shots I can take
