    My plums fell months ago...

Big hand to Mr Shiato for these by the way, it's all very well saying "I could've done that", but it's him that's actually took the time to do it. He should get a mention on the front page as wel as the winner.
To err is human. To really foul things up ... you need a computer.

Ditto that, I couldn't eat them all by a long stretch!

While we're definitely into "Autumn" now, a lot of the leaves (here) haven't turned yet / are only just starting to. There are some magnificent colours about, but I reckon they'll be really impressive in a week or two's time

Had fun in the woods on Sunday ~ not going to make a submission yet, though, as I think I may well get something a bit better during the week :>

well, we'll see how things are. perhaps thats why its such a challenge! there's nothing to say the next challenge stops you from taking pictures of nice colourful trees etc. as autumn really takes hold...in fact the next challenge may not even be a theme but a 'date' (as described in the sticky...at least I think I did). so, who's to say this is your only chance? but for the time being see what you can do!

Took mine at the weekend, send it in yesterday. Proving autumn doesn't mean turning & dying plants, dull days e.t.c.

naff weather can be ok. if you put your camera on a tripod and use a polarising filter if you have an slr then you can get longer exposures with really nice colours. of course you need the nice colours there to start with
