Hexus 4th Photo Challenge

Just out of curiosity (and also to bump this thread so it gets more attention) ~ is anyone getting very far with this?

I've had a few stabs at various things, but not turned up anything i'm particularly happy with. Need more experience with PS, methinks...

And hardly any experience with Photoshop... lol I might aswell use Paint

yeah, i was stuggling for ideas, but after an hour on google and a full search of all my photos ive made 4-5 different ones., from the subtle effects to some crazy stuff, im not too sure what to go for, but ive learnt a fair bit already from messing

erm... had a good idea, never managed to take the photo i wanted to play with, and now i'm offshore until friday. Away again to Norway on sunday evening, so i think i'll probably have to miss this one again.

I think I may well enter this one (for the 1st time...) not very good with PS/GIMP, but I figure that I've got nothing to lose!

Just thinking (perhaps stupid thoughts) but would it make any sense to ask each entrant to submit the pair - the before and after?

bit annoyed at myself for not getting the photo i wanted and not having any time to develop it, but just been far far too busy this past couple of weeks to sit down and play with photoshop. And the weather didn't help, whenver i had time to go out it was blooming lashing it down. oh well, maybe next time...

so are we allowed to do as much photoshopping as we like as long as it started as a photo (or several) that we took?

so are we allowed to do as much photoshopping as we like as long as it started as a photo (or several) that we took?

I think it all has to be from photos taken in that timeframe - ie having a background and then photoshopping in all sorts of other stuff isn't allowed unless that extra stuff was also from a photo taken during the period of the competition.

Thats how I read the rules anyway...

It will run from now (Tuesday 25th) to Sunday 6th November

Submit your entries by 7.30pm 7th November

I think the idea is that basically you have to have taken any photos you're going to use by now, but you still have an extra day to fiddle them / choose what to use / be reminded that you're running out of time etc.

I'm not going to submit mine till tommorow, on the basis I might come up with a brilliant idea during the day for one of the images I took / a slight adjustment to the one I think i'll submit
