OK i know this might be a dead thread but i need to post in it!!!

I was aboot 8 when i first watched 'The Candy Man'. Scared the rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish outta me. I couldn't even go near a mirror for about 5 months after i watched it.

What made it worse was the fact that my m8 at the time went to the bathroom after we watched it and started screaming. He ran out the bathroom and told me he said Candy Man into the mirror 5 times and saw the bloke behind him. The rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish told me only 4 months later that he was actually joking.

I beat the crap out of him

    You have been warned!!

    Good thread peeps

Some that come STRAIGHT TO MIND and fil me with horror everytime.

Saving Private Ryan, near the end, hand to hand fight, between a yank soldier and a German, with a Bayonet, where they roll around for ages, trying to force it into each others chest..and eventually the american loses his strength and the knife slides into his heart ...truly gross

In the film Deliverance, a couple of hill billys rape a bloke who is canooing down a river, while his mate is tied to a tree....they hold him by the ears and its not lovely at all.....makes me wretch..

Reservoir Dogs.....the cutting off of an ear, while the bloke is tied to the chair and has his mouth gagged with tank tape so he cant even scream with pain, except through his nostrils....(try it people, humans NEED to scream to rid the apin from their psyche, and if your mouth is blocked it is intensely scary).....horrible

I must stop this now cos I'm a moderator and I think I might have overstepped the mark a bit on graphic lucidity

Has anyone seen Ichi the killer,
Been wanting to see it for months, but the only uncut version is either the Japanese DVD (which has no englush subs) or the Dutch DVD (which is too expensive) . . .

Though I think I was most disturbed by the movie that I half watched on Friday - Last house on the Left (or something like that) . . . I couldnt watch it anymore I was that disturbed, it may sound pussy like, but it ****ed with my head . . . definately not something to watch when ur stoned.

Yeh i have to agree, not many films scare me but the ones shaken me up a little bit have to be saving private ryan as stated above. Also when the guy is shot by a sniper and dies in a puddle and at the start when all the soldiers get mowed down by the big mg's.

When i was small i use to watch this program where these little furry things rolled about killing people and shooting spikes into em, forgot the name but it freaked me out.. i was about 7/8 then.

There's been many films over the years featuring wrongful imprisonment, abuse by guards, prison life..........

One of the best, and most probably disturbing is Midnight Express.

If you havn't seen it you really are missing out on a great film.

The end of Casino where Joe Pesci and his brother get mullered with baseball bats and buried alive .

Probably the most horrific scene ever imho.

    Hellraiser II
I think its II any way. the one where some of it is set inside a mental institute.
There is a mental guy in a straight jacket that is convinced he is coverd in bugs so they put him in a locked room with a blade and he skins him self. Yeshhh
Also in gangs of new york. The big battle scene at the beginning where the guy gets his leg broken

See no Evil - it's about a young blind girl played by Mia farrow who is in a house with a bloke who has killed her uncle, aunty and cousin who are now lying about the house murdered in pools of blood and she doesn't know(cos she can't see) and she thinks they haven't got home yet. You never see the bloke, you just see his shoes. Talk about creepy!!! I saw it when I was 11 and it scared me sh**l*ss for ages (it still does now). It was on cable a few weeks ago and I was too scared to put it on. You don't need blood and guts for terror.
