    Some night shots

    Took a bunch of night shots, but am finding them a nightmare to process

    Here's the two that i've managed in about a week :|

    i like them hoodi. good composition in the first one, but i do find the angle on the second one make me a bit uneasy, dunno why.

    is that teh bridge in newport? ive been wanting to take a pic of that for a while, may have to pop over and have a go myself sometime.

    Aye, it's the Newport transporter bridge, some great potential for good shots there, I just never seem to be around it much. I think shooting from the far (more industrial) side may yield better results..

    Watch out for the local Newport scum, they tend to swarm to people with expensive looking things attached to them

    lol, yeah i noticed that. we spend a fair bit of time in the hospital there and they like to break into our cars while we are working. rotters.

    mmmm....newport. had the unpleasurable experience of having to go there to get my passport. I got that uneasy feeling that there was little above 'chav class' in newport. . .

    nice shots btw. night ones are always tricky to do but you've done 'em pretty well. exposure details?

    Aye, Newport is not the nicest of places. I try to make sure i'm only ever there cos' i'm "passing through..."

    basic details

    Shot 1:
    Exposure : 1 second
    Aperture : F // 14
    Focal Length : 15mm (although actually more, cos' its been cropped loads...)

    Shot 2:
    Exposure : 4 seconds
    Aperture : F // 9
    Focal Length : 15mm

    Shot 3:
    Exposure : 10 seconds
    Aperture : F // 29
    Focal Length : 30mm

    I've had a few people say the same thing...

    tbh there's quite a lot of interesting stuff to take shots of. But you need to wade through chavs to get to any of it
