Don't get me wrong the action is good, its just the story line leaves lots to be desired, if you go in expecting a good conclusion to the trilogy you will come away disapointed though.

If all you are interested in is the action and special effects you will be very pleased.

Except for when they decide to do closeups on the CGI character faces...

You might have guessed I was rather disappointed with the film from my previous comment... I enjoyed the original and even the sequel in most places, and I don't think I'll ever get sick of watching either of them - however, Revolutions was cheesy, cheese cheese, cringe worthy, all action, little/no storyline imo. I don't think I'll manage to see it too much again..

Maybe I'll rent it on DVD, but I can't see myself buying it

poo or not im gonna get the boxset trilogy

just hope its not poo, and they havnt wreaked it with the 3rd one the second one was not up to scratch but still - compared to any other film was great - the original still left it standing tho

So if you understand the films you like them? That is not a very solid comment. I completely understand Ghost Ship and it was awful. Really bad.

    2) they are 50 sumthing and cant turn their own pcs on
That is just silly. My dad is 50 something and can turn the computer on and knows a good film when he sees it.

    3) they want a story, not big robots shooting the crap outta each other.
They review the film as it is. If it doesent full fill, then why should they give it a good mark? Because the fan boys want them to?

I would personally recommend this film if you liked the first and second (reloaded less obviosly). Whatever the critics say its a film that you will think "wow, that was a gr8 effect" during.

That's perfectly valid I guess. I like The Matrix, Reloaded was a fun watch but nothing really did it for me. I have had hopes for Revolutions because it was set in the real world mostly (or so I heard) and post apocalyptic films really do it for me (Reign Of Fire I like).

the first part of your post was - no offence - very fan boy. You don't like whats being said about your true love so you defend it. I think it's funny when people say "they only don't like it because they don't understand it!". This has been said so many times over the last few months since Reloaded and its just bull to be honest. To understand a film is'nt to like a film.

hope yah got the free movie voucher they were giving out at the end

Anyways, my thoughts on it, faaaaar better than reloaded but still not a patch on the orginal, less random fight scenes but i gotta admit the final battle was a bit of a disapointment

Im not sure some of yo here saw the same film i just came out of, Amazing, one of hte best films i have ever seen, sure it does leave a lot of questions, Ill air my views on the plot line once everyone here has seen it
I think the ending you have to make your own mind up on which is a good thing IMO, people will be talking about this film for years to come, very clever i think.

if i could have got away with it i would have taken a shotgun to the guy's whistley nose sitting a few seats away from me. though i might just have 'slipped' and taken the rest of his head off along with it.

ok, on to the film, in one word, dissapointing. it wasn't atrocious, but then it wasn't great either, there wasn't much new added to the story, just went through the motions of finishing off what had been started in the 2nd film. the action wasn't particularly engaging either, i never found the action outside of the matrix to be a strong suit for the first two movies yet the third relies on this heavily.

5 minutes of kill bill gave me more entertainment than the entirity of this film.

you'd think i hated the movie, but i didn't, it just plodded along following a straight line from the footsteps that the previous film had left it, offering nothing spectacular, no great revelations, no incredible action scenes, only mediocrity. an oppertunity missed.

I did like the original and the sequel. Revolutions was just, in my opinion, and I'm probably repeating myself here, too much action, not enough storyline. The ending was ridiculous. Like a Disney Cartoon with a black suit and sunglasses.

I have a UGC subscription card thing - gets me into any film, any time, and any ugc cinema. I watched the Matrix and Reloaded both three times each - because they were that entertaining. I bought The Matrix: Revisited on DVD, and have watched it a few times since. I won't be doing the same with Revolutions because I didn't enjoy it. There's no "You WILL enjoy it if you liked the other jobs" in it. How can somebody like a poo film, JUST because they like the prequels?
