Any Tips for Photographing UV reactive things?

    hello,

I'm trying to take some photos of the inside of my pc, which has two UV cathodes and some UV reactive water dye etc. im not very good at photography, and i was wondering if there is a particular way of photographing this kind of thing. i cant seem to get the balance right between the actual tubes looking overly bright and the rest of it looking a bit fuzzy. the camera i have is a Konica Minolta Z3.

if any of you photographic experts could help me i would be most appreciative

    thanks

    Dave

use tripod or something to act as a stable base, stick it in manual mode and then try diff combinations of shutter speed and aperture till you get a pic you like , id say start at 1/25 of a second and go from there , make sure you turn off the anti shake tho as that will blur the pic when the cam is sat still also turn off any room lights
