United States UPS 3 Day SelectSM
    Worldwide USPS Global Express MailTM
    Your correct
It seems they shop it to US with UPS anyway, and then later send it whereever with US postal service (assuming thats what USPS is?)

Or it might just be a typo... I originally thought it was written UPSS where the S on end might indicate a different service by UPS....

Not sure if im going to order it yet.. need to find out how much it could possibly cost if customs open it and see my invioce... could get it sent seperatly though I suppose.

I dont think extensive codec support matters, IMO mp3, wma/m4a and ogg are the only ones I would say really matter

and FM radio doesnt matter, if I wanted that I would use the feature on my phone for it (I rarely listen to the radio unless driving for traffic reports)

ogg is rarely supported, and and aac is rather different from wma

supporting more than 2 of the following is rare:

    ogg
    flac
    mp3
    aac
    atrac3
    wma

TBH, i find myself using Ogg Vorbis less and less, partly because support has not grown as quickly as i hoped it would. But mainly because i wanted gapless playback (specifically on my Squeezebox), and with many players now supporting gapless playback with LAME MP3, ogg seems largely irrelevant. The difference in sound quality above 192Kbps is unobservable to me on my decent, although not audiophile, system. So i will stick to LAME MP3 from now on for compatibility sake for my lossy needs, and FLAC for my lossless needs.

I would still like to see more player support Vorbis though.

still says "on order" at the tracking page

However rockbox has a simulator which can do most things. if anyone is not sure about puting it on, try this first*

Few things I dont like 1) the While Playing Screen is boring. You can have any information about hte song you want, and a collection of images, but you cant have karma-style vu meters - its a seperate plugin.

I really need to learn C a bit better, but my first attempt at a plugin hasnt got far... I want to read the id3/WPS info (like time left, next track etc..) then play around with putting some graphical stuff on it.

*not sure if there is a binary-only version of the simulator, i think so, but I installed cygwin and set it up for development so I can play around with the source, then built the sim myself.
