How are they? Will they stay on when jogging?

They're OK but not great for jogging as they are kind of heavy and can bounce around somtimes.

I would think that the most important aspect is ones with noise cancelling aspects, e.g. with in-ear plugs, otherwise you'll be cranking up the volume simply to get over the traffic. Though the downside is if its relatively quiet, e.g. going through a park, then you'll just hear your heartbeat loudly

Shure E2G's here, never let me down, or the MDREX71's if i'm out and about.

    and a review a la Hexus: http://gaming.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=5481

The sound quality is fantastic, even at high volume - the only thing that lets them down is low bitrates

I've just invested in a pair of these and they are wicked, I've always had trouble with earphones falling out of my little ears but these won't budge. The sound quality on them is amazing too. I haven't quite taken up my running again (oh motivation where art thou?) but i'm sure they'll be great for it.

    best under £25 - CX300
    under £50 - UE Metro.Fi2
    under £100 - er-6, vmoda vibe, um1
    under £150 - UE Super.Fi5 Pro, er-4p
    under £200 - e4c, um2, er-4p

The UE Super.Fi5 EB is good if you like bass. Avoid those sony ones - terrible build quality, the cable disintegrates after 6 months

Agree with you SiM about some sony's as i went through five pairs of ex71's, but since i've had the ex90's I have to commend the build quality and also the clarity is better than my old ones.

They seem alright for jogging although are a little heavy as their partially made of metal.

Paid around £60 for mine an now appearing on ebay for about £20-30 which i presume are fakes from china.

The Soundwise S6 looks like it could be the best sound isolating earphone on the markert. It seems really competitively priced. I have a pair of soundwise G3 that I have had for ages and really like. Audio TechATH-EC700 and Amadana PE -117 look good if you prefer to hear the traffic

I have a pair of Cresyn LMX-SH611 Clip-on and a pair of Soundwise S6 that I got for £55 for both on special offer from
soundwise co uk . Both are great for jogging. The Cresyn LMX-SH611 Clip-on is similar to the sony MDR-Q66LW but light enough to stay in place. The S6 very small and fits into the ear canal. They have very good sound isolation, actually so much I don't use in the street as I like to be aware of surroundings. Great in gym though.

Re: Decent headphones for jogging ?

I have tried loads of earphones to keep my company and they were all useless.Either not comfortable or fell out. I now have the Soundwise S6 as recommended above. I would like to second the recommendation and go further to say they are the best earphones for jogging. I am normally really fussy but for once I am happy
