Last one is amazing, I really need to get a better lens. Anyone got any good ideas for a lens that will give me much results for about £100?
You'd really want to get a dedicated Macro lens. Something like the Sigma 105mm F2.8 EX would allow you to get 'life like' photos. Generally its know as being one of Sigma's best lenses. It retails for about £250ish i think.Originally Posted by Nick Flood

Others to look at inc Tamron SP AF90MM F/2.8 Di Macro 1:1, Nikon AF-S VR 105mm Lens f/2.8G IF-ED.
Hope that helps,
Nice photos btw, have you tried cropping them perhaps? so its more focused on the insect.
Cheers for the advice, I was looking at this lens - Sigma 70-300mm f4 - f5.6 APO Macro Auto focus they are quite cheap on ebay.
p.s does this look better?
