I Would get a friend to order another one swap them over and then send it back and get a refund for that.

Really I thought its only not a good idea when you get caught haha
How can a motherboard be delivered with bent pins if a cover is in place? There is a reason why these are always reported as Customer fault...
My mate got a P8Z68-V and that had two bent pins in it. Perhaps there is some issue with these.
See now i had this problem with my first bought msi board from scan, i however have been tinkering with electronics for a while so with the use of a set of sharp pointed tweezers, a carefull eye and alot of patience i fixed the bent pins on the board myself have you thought bout trying this? it took me about half an hour to sort it out...or is a pin missing?? have i misread this??

Scan have a paid for repair service agreement with asus. i sent my RIIE board back, paid £20+vat and the board was sent back to Asus for repair.
It came back fully working.
Call ebuyer and see if they can arrange a similar repair - it's got to be better than binning the board off entirely!
it does take several weeks....

razer121 > The pins fell out 5 pins approx. lost.
Tattysnuc > Ebuyer refused to even send this board back for a repair at my own cost. If Scan will repair this for £20+Vat then I think its worth repairing!
Scan cannot send the board for me. You have to buy it from them. Apparently the service centre is in Germany!! The European support provided by Taiwan is next door to useless. Theres no telephone support at all. What a nightmare!
Asustek have a marketing team based in the UK. Not sure if they'll be able to help you, but it can't hurt to ask surely.
ASUSTek (UK) Ltd.
Hemel One, Boundary Way, Hemel Hempstead, HP2 7YU
Try doing a bit of searching around for a phone number for them and give them a ring direct. They sorted out my B3 exchange a while back, but that may just be because I won it in a competition they were running.
If you get stuck I can PM you an email address.

I am stuck for contact details at the moment. I was given the email address warranty@asustek.co.uk by Robbie from Asus America but that bounced! I thought about posting on bit tech because they have an Asus forum on there.
Well their phone number is 01442 202700 but they tell you to call 0870 120 83 40 which then goes to some call centre and after selecting component products "James" answers and tells me that they cannot support motherboards over the phone and I have to use the RMA page on the Asus website. The RMA page goes to Taiwan where Stacy Shen then tells you that they cannot repair it and I have to find my own repair centre. Great service! NOT!
So now I've been given the email address support_uk@asus.com but no doubt that will end up at Taiwan where Stacey will repeat herself for the 3rd time. So now it's a toss up between calling Asus America at about 3pm or try the repair centre in Germany.
Never buy an Asus board!
