Lost Planet dx9 and dx10 demos

I managed to get this running on my XP64 system. Had to go through an alternative method to extract the msi file. Why it has that restriction on XP64 is beyond me ??

Anyway, it's a nice game and definitely gives the GPU an intensive workout!
My temps rocketed to mid 70s (constant), topping 77.88 C (1280*780 2xAA 16xAA)

Question is do I get it for the 360 or PC.

Well if you have a very nice PC to play this smoothly then I'd say PC as it's cheaper! Only thing is I reckon this game might play better on a joypad.

I was tinkering wondering whether the DX10 version would run under Vista 64bit using a DX9 card. Might try it again with the Catalyst 7.5 release as they have DX10 support.

does this game come in two dvd's or on a dual layer dvd? because the full game is around 7gb

It comes on a single dual layer disc and is £25 for the PC from Woolworths.

Finally got the demo off steam.. quite enjoyed it in a quake 4 kind of way.

Looks pretty good - especially the motion blur and lighting. Liked the arcadyness quite a lot to - explosions were quite cool.

Just hated the 'hit me in this orange bit' and the heat countdown thingy.
