tee hee, on the buggy race, my game glitched and i got thrown over a barrier and over the line...the end result was a 26 second lap... I got a screenie, but im not sure how to post it up...

@DevilMayCry, just pop along to imageshack where you can upload the file and they'll give you a thumbnail link thing to paste into a forum...

@goku maybe add thumbnails rather than embedding 1680x1050 images, I wouldnt mind at home, but im on a laptop @ 1024x768 and it dominates the screen! hehe

oh and @ TiG, good effort on that time, like i said i wont be playing anymore dirt for a fair few weeks... suppose its not a bad thing, what with it being all sunny etc!

ta 1:02 sounds awesome, did you just nail all the corners, or are there any particular tips/tricks? are you using a keyboard too, or wheel/gamepad?

Using a 360 controller on my PC with the crossfire attachment . Not sure how to describe how I was driving to get so fast, basically just go through the corner properly (as in no drifting just go in wide, hit the apex and come out the other side )

Completed career mode! Not the biggest fan of driving games in general but I love this game.

Can't say too much as we can't go live with the review until the 11th, but suffice to say that I'm now a certified Mcrae fan.

WOW!!! I never realised that FPS had SUCH an impact on gameplay!! Just for the hell of it i dropped all the settings to minimum except resolution and look at what happened!!!



(in hindsight, it could also be that the physics were turned down aswell)

Having problems with this demo. Downloaded it, installed and when i go to open it the cpu just sits at 100% but nothing happens. Have to end the process to stop it.

Using:
Windows XP
AMD 64 3500+
Radeon 9800Pro 128MB
1GB RAM

Is this likely to be a graphics card/driver issue?

Maybe, have you updated the driver?

Also, it might be that either a) you are on/below the minimum specs
b)its trying to load the game with the settings on too high...
