    Colin McRae Dirt. Demo Times.

    Hey Guys,

After a week or so of the demo being available I thought we could have a leaderboard (similar to the forza one) for track times in the demo...

I'm not sure if the XBOX360 demo is the same as the PC version, but if so we can have some pc/console competition, if not then it doesnt matter

Anyhow, due to my rig not being up to the 1st and 2nd races in the demo, I've only been playing the 3rd (SS) race, and I cant get a sub 1.08 minute lap... (2.18 total).

Anyone better / got any tips?

    [e!]

    Just got a 1:05.68 lap, 2:14.49 total

    red cars are clearly quicker

Got a 1.10 on my first go.. now can't match it

Surprised your rig can't do the dirt track or the rally, mine's playing them all on maximum. Can't stand the day-glo on the rally track though.

Hopefully the full game will run smoothly... on the 3rd race I can have everything at high/ultra except for shadows/motion blur and FSAA... which are off/low.... and even then its between 20-30fps.

If i put everything up to max the shadows freak out, but apparently this is an issue with the card not having enough memory to do everything.

I got a 1.07.xx last night, but didnt bother with a screenshot as i thought i was on a roll and could beat it... alas not.

yup, the keyboard is really sensitive though, just takes practice, or something like exam revision to avoid
