Olympic Skier on the Commodore 16 was my first ever game. Really enjoyed it. Yeah graphics were quite poor but it was challenging and fun.
First game I played was 'Horace goes skiing' on the Spectrum ZX. Moved onto the Amstrad pretty soon after that though (got to love Dizzy!)
Gauntlet, Gauntlet and more Gauntlet - in the sports centre after my swimming lesson. You young'uns don't know what you missed...
i can't quite recall the first game I ever played, but I can deffo (just about, I was 5 at the time and it was 1986!) remember my first game on my own computer. Arcadians on the venerable Acorn electron 32k with a black and white TV :

Looking on the list of Electron games I noticed another classic I played :

First game I remember playing was Hobbit on the old 16k rubber keyed speccy...
oldest game i can remember would be donkey kong for the NES, when an indian family moved in across the street for 6 months and brought it over. Before that I had an AtariST for playing the mad professor on, which was awesome. Goldenaxe too, rocked! Lemmings, dizzy and MacDonalds World, those were the days!!!
Anyone remember Magic Boy?
Ah I remember my local arcade had the machine for four players....."red wizard needs food badly".
I can't remember my first game though, must be worm on the school RM Nimbus
It'd probably be an Atari ST game as that was the first computer we had in our house.

I know the 1st game i got into was Ridge Racer on the ps1
After seeing it in the arcade when playing it at home, got me hooked, and im still playing games like 11years later. Makes me feel old now
lol yeah it was a hard game..i remember being proud as punch getting my name mentioned in popular computing weekly after I wrote in saying i completed it..
i recall how to be a complete b*****d too..that was hilarious!
Worst game I ever saw was a rendition of Gorf by a company in Hyde called Control Technology..now I would be surprised if many people on here have heard of that company/game i mentioned!
one of my first games was most probably space invaders or something. I know it was definitely on the atari 2600 which I still own now heh
