Olympic Skier on the Commodore 16 was my first ever game. Really enjoyed it. Yeah graphics were quite poor but it was challenging and fun.

i can't quite recall the first game I ever played, but I can deffo (just about, I was 5 at the time and it was 1986!) remember my first game on my own computer. Arcadians on the venerable Acorn electron 32k with a black and white TV :

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcadians_%28Acornsoft%29

Looking on the list of Electron games I noticed another classic I played :

    ahhh, those were the days.

oldest game i can remember would be donkey kong for the NES, when an indian family moved in across the street for 6 months and brought it over. Before that I had an AtariST for playing the mad professor on, which was awesome. Goldenaxe too, rocked! Lemmings, dizzy and MacDonalds World, those were the days!!!
    Anyone remember Magic Boy?

Ah I remember my local arcade had the machine for four players....."red wizard needs food badly".

I can't remember my first game though, must be worm on the school RM Nimbus
It'd probably be an Atari ST game as that was the first computer we had in our house.

As for Top 10 games, it's so difficult. There are some amazing games I've played over the years on various home formats and even arcades (now on MAME )

Here are some from the top of my head:
    Syndicate Wars
    Dungeon Keeper
    Populous
    Little Big Adventure
    Crusader
    Legend of the Mystical Ninja
    Revenge of Shinobi
    Streets of Rage series
    X-Out
    Turrican series
    Panzer Dragoon series
Thunder Force series (3 in particular)
    Toe Jam & Earl
    Nights (into Dreams)
    Sword of Vermilion
    Shining Force 3
    C&C series
    Raiden
    Road Rash
    Musha Aleste
    Virtua Cop
John Madden games (from early 90s - not played recent offerings)
EA NHL games (as per John Madden)
    Quake series
    Unreal Tournament
    Duke Nukem
    Cavalier-X: Biostar TP45-HP ¦ E4600@3.1ghz - Xigmatek Red Scorpion (OCZ Freeze) ¦ OCZ ReaperX 2x2gb (792mhz @ 4-4-4--12) ¦ Xigmatek NRP-MC651 ¦
    Palit 8800gt ¦ X-fi Fatal1ty Gamer ¦ Coolermaster Cavalier 3 (Silver/Windowed) ¦

    Poseidon Magma: MSI P45 Zilent ¦ E6300@3.0ghz - Coolermaster Hyper 212 (MX-2) ¦ Corsair 2x2gb (880mhz @ 5-5-5-15) ¦ Corsair HX450w ¦

I keep hovering over that on Virtual Console... but I've got 1000 points left, and I still don't have Ocarina of Time. Or Mario 64. I'd buy some more points, but I'm a tight get.

i recall how to be a complete b*****d too..that was hilarious!

Worst game I ever saw was a rendition of Gorf by a company in Hyde called Control Technology..now I would be surprised if many people on here have heard of that company/game i mentioned!
