What the hell? You guys actually liked this POS?

First off, it ran fine on my aged machine which was a good sign, however the corrupt textures on rocks were a tad annoying.

However this supposedly "clever" AI is thick. Not once did I see evidence of any intelligence, though I must admit they never got close to me. Far too easy, and despite being able to approach the place from different angles etc the mission is the same regardless.

Nothing ground breaking here, won't be parting with my hard earned...

As I have already said twice, and is specified in the Read.me, TURN OFF ANTIALIASING AND ANISTROPHIC FILTERING! They are not supported!

I'm not bothering to turn something off - pretty graphics don't make a game, gameplay does. I'm more than able to tell that this game is nothing new to the FPS genre even if a few rocks have a dodgy texture.

AI - supposedly intelligent, working in groups, flanking etc: Seen it before in Half Life many moons ago.

Having to go prone when using rifles etc - BF1942 and many other games require this.

Pretty water textures - LOMAC blew my socks off a month or so ago, and again it hardly adds to the gameplay.

Explorable maps - Operation Flashpoint or IDI anyone?

Like I say, apart from a couple of pretty effects nothing's new and the AI is easy to beat. Also another thing about the AI...

"I'm going to shoot you in the face!"

Why not just do it instead of announcing to the world what you're about to do so you might actually stand a chance?

Anyone know where to get this demo? I'm trying to d/l from fileplanet.com but the d/l speed is terrible! It's average speed is 5KB/sec and says it will take 28hrs to d/l!

I'm waaaaaay ahead you of Ask jonneh to burn it as i dont have a writer

It's not bad actually. The graphics are very nice and it has a few clever touches : Pop some mercenary in the head and it leaves a gaping hole there with blood pouring out. lovely!
First time i played it i wasn't really sure what it was gonna be like, so i stealthed it under the big jetty thing that the dudes were standing on.......just my luck there was a bit of plank missing right under where this guy was standing, so i pulled the old 9mm out and squeezed one off right between his eyes , then of course to only discover his m8 had a P90!!! LOL , he started spraying through the planks at me, whilst calling for his mates, classic!

i have yet to experiment with graphic options yet though, medium settings with 2xQ antialiasing, thats with a Gforce4 Ti 4800

Well unlike alot of you I enjoyed this demo, thought it was good although had really impossible problems with SoundStorm so dug out a GameSurroundIII and seemed to be alright (still the odd glitch though).

The GFX we're good and detailed, the jungle was good, and the buggy looked right out of HL2 E3 demo. Although in that scene where your going up towards the 'ruins' just before the Satalite (thats in the background) I was getting mad slowdown when the people we're dropping from helicopters ... would freeze up badly Although they said it was badly optimised in the FC forums and they'd be optimising alot of the code before the final version

Game is nearly done downloading for me. We'll see how poorly it runs with my graphics card Might need to do a bit of overclocking

Oh also aparently it's being released on DVDROM only. Which is a bugger because my DVDROM packed up. Buying a new one requires effort
