    The download is pencilled in for March. Extended edition retail depends on publisher negotiations but should be May.

    I havn't played it since I killed the ghost hound at the end of act 1. Once it has been patched up to enhanced edition I am going to start it again.

    I've just ordered the witcher. I was thinking of cancelling, however it looks like i will be able to upgrade a standard edition.

    Yes same here just swapped my BioShock for a mate`s copy of the witcher, going put of playing until the new patch.

    Excellent stuff, I haven't gotten very far on the witcher.

    Has anyone read the books at all? well... theres only one book in english and thats "The Last Wish" which is a collection of stories...

    I had a polish girlfriend and she knew I was into fantasy stuff and she got me the last wish in english. I had no idea there was a game being made until I got to the last page where there was an advert. I think that "the blood of the elves", first book in a series of three, is due out in September. The Witcher is kinda like the Polish Lord of the Rings in terms of its fame.

    good info on the books was going to look into this.
