well, I have a gamecube adaptor, pad works perfectly in windows (havent any pad games, really wanted it for NFSU) but I get exactly the same thing in NFSU, I am sure its the game and I find it very disapointing that there is no pad support on what is essentialy a console game.

Like I said before, it has to be with the PS2 adapter from play.com.
However, if you have the same folder in the same directory, then give it a go...
tried it,seemed to fix the steering.. but I now have a problem where it seems like the B button is allways pressed and I constantly accelerate even with my finger off the button.

You're not using analogue are you? Have you tried to configure the controls in the game?
hey ive got 1 of these play.com usb adapter and ive got exactly the same problem but i seem to get twitchy controls etc in a few games aswell as the eratic upscroling in nfsu vice city also has twitcyness,,i was actually gonna rma it do i have any grounds?
by the way ive got 1 of these also:super dual box ,slightly more expensive but works like a charm with nfsu and every other game ive tested it with!

No need to RMA it if you do what have said above... could get 4 player action going on on your PC if you got enough USB ports
sorry leadhead but that doesnt do it for me,controller still works its ticket and is clearly evident when i try to callibr8 it (it just goes berserk and callibrates itself ((cant control it,it just goes through it itself)) to an unusable state) also if you leave the controller (dont touch any buttons etc) before "and" after deleting the axes folder when in control properties, every 3 seconds or so the left analogue/digital movement buttons keep twitching to the righthand down position for no reason (this is exactly what happens in vice city while driving where the car will twitch to the right every few sec,s if u take ure finger off the steering) tried with just plug n play (ie windows driver) and also packaged driver,still makes no difference this damm twitching persistsNo need to RMA it if you do what have said above... could get 4 player action going on on your PC if you got enough USB ports

P.S. I solved this same problem with my Logitech pad by just deleting every key which had the word "Wingman" in it, in the joypad tree thingy which one of the guys mentioned earlier!

Cant have splitscreen on NFSU only Multi-player over net, but this problem effects other games too, so could have multiplayer on other games using the PS2 pad
also no way to config controls al, they idnt think of controllers at all with nfsug by the look of it.
