    Do you have the Joytech PS2 adaptor? If do, uninstall it completely and remove it from the USB port. Then using the CD do the install and only insert the controller when it asks you. Then go and delete the Axel entry in the Registry as mentioned above.

    That worked perfectly for me...

    thanks that worked for me but I think the car drifting to the right

    I know theres a problem in tony hawks 4 where it keeps going left on the menus you need to disable the second pad, in device manger under human inferface devices.

    but this did not work for NFSP but does work for metal gear solid.

    just wondered has anyone else come across any other games that have problems with the play.com device??

    any body having problems with colin mcrae 4, when i try to select the button it crashs to the desktop
