coolio, I think I was being talked at when that bit of info came up.
HEXUS FOLDING TEAM It's EASY
I got the game last night and was suitably impressed - the cut scenes are really immersing, found myself getting really into it even to a point where a was confused when the characters stopped moving (time for me to take control).
<minor spoiler>
Best part for me so far is when you are chasing that chap who's after you cousin. You track him down in a warehouse and he comes at you with a knife. I couldn't figure out how to disarm him so I just kept punching him until I punched him through the window
i kicked through that window with the chinese guy, i too couldnt find the bricks
Me cousins gaffs bin burnt darn! By sum Russian rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbish!
I will shoot his face many times for this outrage.
What % we all on? I'm on 24.00%, giving the story missions a rest now while I do some of the side missions: tracking down crims on the police computer, and the Little Jacob drug drops.
Also, anyone seen that bloke walking around the streets with a saucepan on his head? Crazy mo fo. I set fire to him.

Oh yeah... another weird one happened to me last night - I was driving down the middle of a huge bridge and then I got like 5/6 star police wanted rating? Was that just the intro of the game showing me what happens?
You is banned from the bridges early game, because of a terror threat. So try to go down one and the po-lice with go all Rodney King on you.

Just like if you go onto the tarmac at the Airport, instant 4-star. I managed to escape it though, which was nice.

brucie rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!
XBOX: BauerPrime
I'm currently on about 24% and just started with Elizabeta. Going out tonight, so doubt that will increas for a day or so now. Been doing the car jobs for Brucie for money. Getting a little fed up with Roman or someone else phoning for something to do whilst I'm busy on my way to the next mission and then losing their likeness to me.
Oh, and anyone else having trouble with one of the roads going down to the navy yard by Brucie's workshop? Always seems to try and flip my car when I go down it.
lol, Ive played 24 hours so far... and im 45% into the game...
this is definately a huge game!
I havent really gone too far away from the main missions and its still taken me this long...
(12 hours a day for 2 days after release).
today though, i had to go to work, but no doubt i'll be putting a few hours in when i get home (then its off to see iron man).
i havent played much multiplayer at all... i did one car robbing thing... then i left after winning $1500 for one car... it said i had new clothes available? havent looked into it thoroughly though, i am far too immersed into the actual SP game!
initial reactions:
Cars handle alot BETTER than previous ones... its difficult to get used to, but alot more realistic... just like in real life, cars you steal on the road wont be very good... whereas the higher end cars handle much better.
The story line is fantastic... places burnt down, people killed, penthouses given, and bank jobs! its all very good! i cant wait to pull further through the game!
Graphics wise, its pretty special... at first glance i thought it looked exactly like san andreas (which i havent played for a very long time). but no, the graphics are really popping out and shining now... i think its just the fact the gameplay hasnt changed that drastically, you still feel like its a follow on from san andreas!
Things im missing from previous ones however... body building... i know everyone turned carl into a toned beast in previous ones, but with this player we have now, nikko, it seems lost that u cant change his appearance in any way... it also seems that you only ever need to eat to gain health back, whereas before you needed to eat to sustain carl's body mass... a minor thing, that i've been missing.
Planes too... i havent been able to get into a plane as of yet, and i have seen no sign of fighter jets either...
planes on the runway are locked down and you cant enter them. although u do get the annihilator heli which is cool... i loved playing with the fighter jet.
I think because the city is so crowded, it doesnt feel as big as it is... but alot og hype i heard it takes an hour and a half to get from one side of the map to another... which is obviously quite wrong, as it takes alot less time to travel that far (which you have to do in alot of missions )
things like the open desert and such in san andreas made those games seem alot bigger than what this one is, and although its been a while since i played them, i do get the feeling that san andreas was alot bigger map wise and road wise than what the new one seems to be. obviously you got smaller cities in SA, but in IV it seems alot more crowded and close together. maybe not a bad thing, but possibly not a good thing either.
I've still alot more to play...
i have all islands open to me now (they open up after the bank job "three leaf clover" which was my favorite mission so far, even if it did take me 3 attempts - get body armour on the way to the job )
Right, ive rambled enough...
Time to do some work (and think about playing GTA IV when i get home )
