    Just as I expected it would seem Clear Sky is just as buggy as the original. This is really really shocking to the point of almost being unplayable. Developers shouldn't be allowed to release such buggy software.

    I had absolutly NO problems with mine like that. Only the buggy sky when raining.. and now thats fine it seems.

    One more problem I am now suffering if random cut offs to desktop.... dunno why as Ive finished the game twice.. maybe its coz im now using mods? I dunno..

    Mine is working much better now I've applied the latest patch, not seen a single crash or broken mission so far.

    Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

    .. And I've just finished it. Some potential spoilers here peeps;

    Why oh why does GSC cling to the point of no return gameplay mechanic at the end of its games?! Clear Sky has exactly the same problem as SoC. GSC created Lamansk, stuck it in the end of the game, don't let you back out of Lamansk and offers little to no exploration of the town, they funnel you down to the end of the level a la COD or something. Then the hospital, same issue. Spammed by Monolith with their expert grenade throwing skills and linear run and gun gameplay... And the grand finale, dropped out of the hospital, thrown into the NPP level, some chat with Clear Sky then magically arrive on the bridge with a load of extra weapons in my inventory, which means I can no longer move cos I'm now over burdened, getting shot from all angles while trying to sort out the inv only to run through stupid hard battles with endlessly re-spawning super urban grenade flinging androids chasing our friend Strelok who seems to be able to dance around Monolith with them paying him no attention at all!

    <deep breath> I really enjoy the first two thirds of SoC and Clear Sky, the former more so than the latter, but the end of these games just feel rushed, incoherent and tagged on...

    Re: S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky

    So basically what awaits us at the end of both SoC and Clear Sky is one big fight. Lovely. Not.

    Perhaps the makers or publishers wanted something like that to appeal/appease to the big fight people? In SoC there isn't alot of big fighting going on (upto where I am anyhow) so to an action fanatic it is quite "boring" running to and from expanding the story and general sneaking around.
