My question is this: What is the best sub-1k gaming laptop?

i want to take it with me to work since I would use it for work but would like the ability to play games too.
I do not have that much money to work with hence the sub-1k.

That said, it should be portable so not an alternative ship anchor please.

Doom immortal classic, no more words
Geoguessr seems very like google maps but SO relevant these days actually, with all this isolation thing

Lets talk about some genres of video games that are really good.

For team games, I recommend scribbl.io (basically online Pictionary) and Codenames Online (which is the official web version of the board game). We've had great fun playing these at work with video chat at the same time.
