    Question Star Wars Galaxies

So yer, I was just wondering if any other Hexus users are currently playing this, and what you think if you are?

Im playing on the Lowca server, so if anyone from here wants to add me and go on some hunting missions then my user is "Areku Ariak".

I love the game, been playing it sice the start of december now. I'm on the Farstar server though.

Living and dying laughing and crying
Once you have seen it you will never be the same
Life in the fast lane is just how it seems
Hard and it is heavy dirty and mean

Been playing a few days but finding it a little underwhelming at the moment. Apart from doing missions from the terminals there seems very little to do.

Would have given you a shout but I am on Chimeara

Is anyone who's playing SWG played any MMOGS before and if so how does it compare?

Used to play Ultima Online for 4 years, had a bash on Everquest and played Asherons call 2 for a bit.
I think SWG is pretty much compairable to AC 2, reminds me of it alot in regards to skills, combat special moves and even the graphical feeling to some degree.

Ive only been playing SWG for a few days so its a bit early for me to make a decent judgment on it but it really doesnt feel as deep or involving as UO or Everquest. That might change once I get into it a bit more but I'm feeling a bit let down by it at the moment.

I never really got the EQ thing, I played it for a bit but never found it deep or involving. I just found loads of pointless things to do and most people just sitting around waiting for spawns so they could get the uberloot. That said, EQ2 looks alright, I'll probably give it a bash.

I starting playing when it was released in the UK but after about a month I lost interest in it and left it gathering dust on my shelf. I was just about to put it up for sale on Ebay when I thought I'd have another bash at it. I now enjoy it more than when I first played it. Its quite good fun to go see Luke Skywalker and the gang.

You should go for a profession then and stick to that profession. It makes the game a bit more interesting then. Im currently learning Artisan at the moment, im finding it kinda difficult to start off with. Im nearly done mastering Marksman though. Im aiming for something like a Bounty Hunter, but who knows, might change my mind. Pick a profession to go for, and then do what it takes to get there, I think you will find the game a bit more interesting then
