Well having tried the demo I have to say this is a very decent game, even considering buying it

Still havent made my mind up about this, I tried the online and most if not all games end in people leaving due to lag issues

is the full version the same?

It's definitely worth having if you play with a group of friends regularly. Stardock offer an excellent service.

    I don't like it

Tried a couple of times but it just wasn't really my kind of game. It's too focused on multiplayer and kind of has too little content as a result.

    Re: Demigod

It is entirely focused on multiplayer. There are plenty of multiplayer-only games out there that are very fun to play, this is one of them.

So finding games randomly is a no go?

A friend of mine might purchase it as well, but its no use just the two of us really is it?

There are, but unlike the others I didn't find it especially fun. I like UT3, I like RTS games online.. but combine them in Demigod and I didn't think it was that great. But everyone has different tastes

For random games there's Skirmish and Pantheon. For everything else there's custom games.

Well I have still yet to have a single good experience online in the demo.

Most games end before they start due to people with connection issues

I installed the demo today and thought the exact same thing. Most games ended within 2 minutes of starting.

The only good game I've had so far is with 3 other AI bots - although I did enjoy it. The mechanics are really simple but it seemed like there was a lot of scope.

I do kinda get the impression that it would get old fast though.

Bought and currently 80% downloaded (also downloading Torchlight to the netbook - apparently it's supported)
My only concern is should I hide my true identity? A costume maybe?

0iD: Plus weeing in it every now & again does it good
scaryjim: 10" is just a little large to hold comfortably in one hand, which makes it a lot harder to tap, swipe and generally interact with.
