If I play with other people its on live which is most nights now ... Just out of interest what games do you / everyone play at the LAN events? Wasnt there a hexus LAN FAQ at one point?

I like the idea, but am off camping that weekend. Could be tempted for future meets if I can get permission from the long-haired General.

Do Steam based games (not just CS:S and TF2, but things like Steam versions of CoD etc.) work at these LANs or does it have to be stand-alone games?

COD4 is a favourite, various different flavours of C+C and some other RTS's

GRID, Trackmania, etc etc

Come on, Lanning is much more fun than playing over the net

Nope Steam based games work fine

Just update steam before you arrive and all is good!
