hmm pee physics.. do you think they'll have an inbuilt timer system thing so he doesn't pee to much, to often, although he is old, and old people pee a lot
im also wondering if they've added motion controller support for the consoles, just incase duke needs to 'shake it off' at the end, avoiding the dot of shame.
*dot of shame, as said by stephen fry on QI
Im still hoping this is good but im now having some doubts about this.... I foresee it being a console game now (is this possible with 12 years of pc development?) as they are using an xbox 360 controller to demo the game, for something that is meant for the PC it would have been a bit better to use a keyboard surely, and then add xbox controller later or something.
Other than that, still has the comic style to it (best part? Bar shooting pigs and chewing bubble gum) so im stuck waiting .
For those who purchase borderlands goty edition you will get access to the duke nukem demo

Has there been any news on the release date of the demo?
I'm pretty much buying DNF release day for no other reason than that I've seen this saga unfold from the begining to hopeful end. Plus I've worked on eventual vaporware projects so its nice to see something that has escaped death.
Loved the twist of it being Duke playing the ending of the first game and was getting a BJ. lol
Was watching with sound off, but it looks like it'll be a cracking old school shooter - just like Duke 3D
Hmm, the thing is, I don't think the said 'old school shooter' doesn't cut the mustard any more
This hot girl came over to myspace last night, she twittered my yahoo till I
googled all over her facebook. Ask Jeeves...

There is one reason I agree with you, 'achievements'. Old Skool shooters were about fun and everyone had access to the same weapons, it was how you used them that counted.
Now FPS is about silly achievements, the console industry has put achievements into games to make it more than a sub par release.
With the original Duke Nukem 3D multiplayer, the same guns were placed around the map and anyone could use them, you didnt need to be a General this or a Seargent that...
I hope DNF is the same, none of this achievement crap to unlock this that and the other. Everyone should have access to all weapons from start to finish.
Personally Doom II based engine games have never been matched or beaten in terms of raw game play, customisation and multiplayer.
Painkiller came very close on the single player front. But its multiplayer was a massive let down.
I would disagree. CPL World Tour in 2005 was just one example how MP in Painkiller was popular...

Brilliant tournament by the way.

I have played it, quite entertaining, got the key from the Borderlands GOTY edition.
My like of Doom II engine based games was the fact you could do deathmatch but with added obstacles of computer AI.
The monsters in the single player Painkiller were moosive. It would have been great to have taken them on in co-op or deathmatch.
I just felt Painkiller wasn't standing out from the crowd on MP and I just didn't enjoy it at all. Perhaps I'll give it another go. People still play the first CS so its likely people are playing Painkiller....
The demo looks cool. But they will have a really hard time living up to the expectations; twelve years development time :S
