Surely not...... Can it be that after a decade duke nukem forever will be realeased?!?!??!!??!

The only problem I can see is that its got an almost mythical status now that its going to have to be something really special to live up the hype

Given the hype is all about it being vapour ware I'd guess that even a stickman shooter would exceed it..

    Re: Duke Nukem Forever...movement!

Could someone host the image please? 3DRealms forum is "too busy at the moment."

Seeing as development for Duke Nukem Forever originally started on the Quake II Engine, I hope that for the past ten years they've managed to keep abreast of all the innovations (physics, dx10, multi threading e.t.c).

With any luck, the teaser video out tomorrow will give the answer

I enjoyed the duke nukem games as they had a sense of humour, I had given up on 'forever ever being released.

Ditto. I don't have too high expectations any more, I just want it to come out. But it will be at least a decent game.
The 2001 video looked like the game still had the funny in it, as well as a working vending machine.
And everyone knows, having a working vending machine is the true test of if a game is any good or not

    Re: Duke Nukem Forever...movement!

Does that video date from 1998 or is it more recent?

I'll believe that this is coming when I see it released.
This is the fourth (that I remember) attempt at releasing it.

If true, it should make me very, very happy.
