C&C Red Alert 3 Internet Problem

Hi,

I have a problem with the internet on Red Alert 3, well not me, but a friend of mine cannot connect to other people, including me. i can connect with everbody, but he gets a connection failed error. does any one has a solution or someone experiencing the same problem?

yes, he is behind a router. i believe he is behind a subrouter.

Does the router/subrouter have the ports that he needs open?
