And just wondering, anyone else finding it fairly easy? My marine seems fairly robust, and I'm only up to the 'find the personel elevator that leads up to Alpha Level 2' just after the guy hanging from the ceiling with the two headed things and I haven't died yet...is this the case with everyone else?

yeh at that point i hadnt died but u get those hound things with robot legs and they start doing a bit of damage
i die loads now mainly because im trying to scare myself as much as possible till i get to the point when i dont wanna move for fear
so i run in without a flash light just shooting everything!

Yeah, the hounds are big beasties, but I still find them a lot easier to deal with than those marines....arrrgggh, stop straffing you little sods....

I haven't reached the 'go nuts and cr@p your pants on purpose' stage yet, but have been known to stand in the doorway at the edge of new rooms whispering to myself 'It's only a game, it's only a game' so probably not long now...

I am really enjoying the whole 'game going red' and 'demonic whispering' bits, just before a load of imps teleport in....very atmospheric.

its the corpses you occasionally see float around that gets me, and the skulls at the start, the similar ones in RTCW got me too.

I think I died 5 times, twice against two hell barons and an arch vile, twice falling off the edge against a boss and once falling into a large fan. I got battered to within 25 health of my life a few times, but thats about it. Very enjoyable though, it makes you work to stay alive

haha twenty times thats quite an achievement
i didnt have the guts to put it on extreme or whatever its called
not only for fear but after setting up the graphics options my mind kinda got set on lowest everything and itll run, so unfortunatly i put it on lowest difficulty, bully for me

the scariest bit(s) are the hell bits when there are all the pentagrams (is that what they are?) and the monsters spawning everywhere
