There's a video in the September PC Format (DVD) showing someone completing Half Life (the original) in 45 minutes ..... madness. Has anyone else seen it?

Are they using a speed hack or what? It could be possible normally though.

NOTHING TO BE SEE HERE, MOVE ALONG PLEASE....
:: of all the things i've lost i miss my mind the most ::
nope but will watch it later =) sounds cool
i remember QdQ [quake done quick], that was quake in 8mins or something, pretty darn fast but quite possible
I don't know about a speed hack (although they may be), but mostly is just comes from exploiting a couple of bugs in the game to take shortcuts, just watching it now (and at work - bonus!), it is just total madness!

I'm rather suprised it takes 45mins tbh, i've played the game through so many times that maybe i forget how much there is to the game.... but if i was trying to complete it quickly i'd guess i'd be running through the game like a mad thing where as usually i'd want to kill everything in sight

There was one that did it in an hour in PCGamer a while ago.
Doesn't look like there were any hacks but just expolited and skipped everything. In one section the guy had to do it over 100 times before he could get it right, unreal.
