About LinkBacksTheres seems to be a funny in the game somewhere, that if you have a full grid running (of 19 AI cars) it gives a faster FPS than if you turn the number of AI cars down.

it runs fine for me and my 'puter isnt exactly a monster, Geforce 4 ti 4400, XP2100, 512 333DDR, ABIT mobo
